Defender Europe is proud to have delivered Defender filters for
Herning Svømmehal - one of the biggest swimming facilities in
Denmark.
In 2014, The European Championship took place in Boxen, Herning,
where people became aware of the Defender Filter, as the filters
were used for the competition pools. On basis of this reference and
in relation to positive references as well as a specific focus on
an environmental and energy saving aspect, Defender filters were
chosen and installed for water treatment of the eight pools in
Herning Svømmehal.

Lalandia is a holiday paradise, where families, colleagues and
friends meet in order to relax and have fun. Lalandia Billund is
especially known for its water park "Aquadome", which is the
biggest water park in Scandinavia. Aquadome contains facilities for
everyone, including water slides, pools with waves, and even
wellness facilities.
From the beginning, in 2009, Lalandia chose Defender filters for
the water treatment, and with the proven cost-effectiveness of this
type of water treatment, there was no doubt that Lalandia required
Defender filters for the extension of the water park in 2015, where
the new Wild River was launched.

As the very first swimhall in the municipality of Esbjerg, Ribe
swimhall was chosen to be renovated, with focus on the water
quality as well as environmental issues and operational savings in
general and thereby to be equipped with Defender filters.
The environmental authorities, took the time to make a
comprehensive study of the function of Defender filters and the
involved filter media - called perlite.
In Ribe, the old water tank for backwash water, was taken out of
operation and the 2 Defender filters were practically installed
inside the tank - an example of a brilliant use of the available
space.

The professional International training center for offshore and
aviation employees has developed training facilities to simulate
potential risks in the field. Part of the safety training involves
helicopter diving and underwater escape.
For this project Defender Filter is used in order to ensure
crystal clear water, cause remarkable savings and reduce
environmental impact.
Himmerland Golf & Spa
Resort

The resort, which is owned by the world-famous grocer and owner
of the JYSK Group, Lars Larsen, was appointed as the best golf
resort in Denmark in both 2014 and 2015, and the resort is annually
hosting the famous golf competition 'The European Tour, Made in
Denmark'.
In addition to functioning as a gathering place for golf
enthusiasts, the resort functions as a conference center for both
personal and professional development, and is simply used as a
luxury get-away for families, colleagues and couples as well.

facilities of the resort.
